Raise your hand if you grew up watching Charmed! ::looks around:: Ok! I might be dating myself, but I was around 12 when the show aired on the WB11 (google that) and I LOVEEEEDDD it. Anything magical that's light and fun— I'm into.

Charmed was a show about three sisters who came from a long line of witches, they were the most powerful witches in all of San Francisco and the world apparently. In between vanquishing demons and all sorts of supernatural beings; they were also trying to date, pursue careers and learn to be better sisters.

I decided to re-watch the show as it's on Netflix and now that I am on season 3 it occurred to me that it would be dope if this show was brought back to life BUT with a more colorful cast. So I went and did just that! I've re-casted just for you (and me because funnnn). If it were up to me, I'd also move the show from SF to NYC or Miami, where there's plenty of Botanicas for potions and empanadas to snack on.

ROSARIO DAWSON (PRUE)

Prue was the oldest sister, her powers were telekinesis and astral projection. After their mom and grandmother died she had to look after her sisters. A little rough around the edges but deep down very caring. Rosario would be an awesome older sis, don't ya'll think?

DIANE GUERRERO (PIPER)

Piper was the second oldest sister, she had the power to freeze things and to blow sht up! Much like a middle-child she always felt a little over-looked and over-worked. Although Prue looked after her sisters, Piper was definitely the most responsible one (in my opinion). She owned a business (a club called P3) and pursued a relationship with Leo. In my version P3 would have musical guests like Cardi B, Bruno Mars, Gucci Mane, Khalid... hello!

AIMEE CARRERO (Phoebe)

Phoebe was the second youngest sister, she had a passive power— premonitions from the future and past, as well as the ability to levitate (she was also really good at writing spells). She was always getting in trouble and wasn't scared of taking risks. She had a very serious relationship with Cole... which presented her sisters with lots of hurdles. Aimee Carrero is a Dominicana with a good sense of humor, she'd do Phoebe justice.

HERIZEN GUARDIOLA (Paige)

Paige was the youngest half- sister, her powers were telekinesis and orbing. She was sweet and at times a little misunderstood. Who doesn't want to see more of Herizen? We know we do!

CHARLES MICHAEL DAVIS (COLE)

Cole was half-demon half-human (que reguero). In fact he was a very powerful one, sent to kill the power of 3... but, he fell in love with Phoebe and things got very complicated for him. Charles Michael Davis is a papiiiii — and looks like he can play good and bad very well.

VICTOR RASUK (LEO)

Leo was the sisters 'white-lighter' aka guardian angel with major healing powers. He was the girls guiding light. He also fell in love with Piper, and they ended up having a whole ass relationship despite major setbacks. I've been a fan of Victor Rasuk since How to Make it came out in HBO, he'd bring a lot of likability to Leo's role.

DANIEL HENNEY (DARRYL THE COP)

You can't go around a city solving crimes and killing demons without the popo getting suspicious. Luckily for the sisters they had a cop friend named Darryl who looked out and didn't snitch. Much needed when you're trying to keep a low-profile.

GINA TORRES (PATTY aka MOM)

Patty passed when the girls were young, but still lingered from time to time when needed. I love me some Gina, so I'd make her have a much more consistent role because who doesn't need mami advice?

JIMMY SMITS (VICTOR BENETT aka DAD)

Victor was not around much, which provided and extra layer of complexity to the sisters relationships. I'd change that narrative too, maybe Poppa Jimmy is more of a jodon when it comes to the sisters powers.
