PLAYLIST: BUNDLE UP VOL. 2
Hola everyone, I'm back again with the smooth cuts to lace your chilly nights with sultry vibes. I'm feeling a few joints in this week's set, as I've had some time to lay out and enjoy some time alone with my headphones.
Jorja Smith is the leading lady for the second volume and I must say, I'm so in love with her voice! “Where Did I Go?” is a tale we can all relate to, getting lost and swept up in the roller coaster of love and infatuation. Shawty is hella talented too, she self directed her video for this song as well so check that out when you all have some downtime.
Mac Miller aka Larry Fisherman collab'd with Anderson Paak to create a funky track entitled “Dang!”. This song got to me on a personal level; ladies if you hear the song you will know exactly what I'm talking about. The cliche is true, you don't know what you got until it's gone. Ima just leave it at that. However, the track is smooth af, and it's been added to my daily set list.
Yung Baby Tate's song Orange is so cute, not to mention it's self produced and the euphoria in her voice is contagious. Shawty is talking about catching flights with her bae; lets add that to the requirements for future bae. (Remember y'all it is cuffing season, make sure your roster is up to par.)
I also included Bibi Bourelly's new song Ballin, in addition to some new bars from Brooklyn emcee DonMonique, Eli Sostre and the Harlemite Dave East. East's long awaited album “Kairi Chanel” is finally available in stores and online. His official album release show is October 18th, at the Highline Ballroom. Special guests will be in the building, so if you're here in NYC come out and show love. You won't want to miss out.
That's all from me. Now kick back and enjoy the tunes.
peace & hair-grease y'all.
xo Monie.
