Sunshine Vibes Vol. 5

Hello beauties !  It was so wonderful to meet you all at Afropunk. I hope you guys enjoyed the fest as much as we did. The summer is coming to a close which makes me so sad. I'm really not a fan of the cold weather that has been creeping through.

This is our last installment of the Sunshine Vibes ! But don't worry I'll still be bringing that heat, even throughout the winter months! I'm dropping gems for Vol. 5 and I must say they're bangers. Can we talk about Young M.A. for a minute?! Shawty is carrying Brooklyn on her back right now! I went to Pizza Zoo this past weekend (s/o to my GirlMob sister Frankie for being the plug) and when I tell you that everyone lost their mind when the DJ played “Ooouu”, you couldn't even imagine. Nicki Minaj already hopped in the studio to do a remix and our Queen Bee herself did a cosign via Instagram. WOW.

I put a few fresh tracks in the mix as well. Goldlink is a personal favorite so his cut “Fall In Love” provides some funk to the playlist. Aminé is an upcoming rapper from Portland; his song “Caroline” is a great party starter. He had his debut show here in NYC at Rough Trade back in August, some of you may remember him from the Soulection stage at Afropunk.  

070 Shake is also someone to keep your eyes and ears on and I loveeeee her song “Honey”. Baelani aka Kehlani's new song “CRZY” is on here as well.  Brent Faiyaz's song "Poison" is such an eargasm. When he performed last month at The Highline Ballroom and this song started to play I damn near hit the floor. That boy can saaaang , so make sure you're on the lookout for his music. He's also releasing his EP A.M. Paradox , which will come out later this month- I TOLD YOU I GOT GEMS FOR YOU! Don't sleep.
