1. What attracted you to comedy? The attention.

2. Which fellow comedian would you choose as a mentor? I mean to be honest probably Weird Al who I talk about a lot because he is in some ways so niche and yet at the same time universally respected and revered.

3. High point + low point of your career so far: High point was getting to do Handmaid's Tale: The Musical, last year at the Kennedy Center Terrace Theater. Low point is every show where there are 2 people in the audience and the host is like "We're going to do the show anyways! Also, you're last."

4. One thing 2019 taught you: To let go of perfectionism & write what I would want to watch.

5. What's next for you in 2020: I hope to be made Lt. General of SJWs in the comedy civil war.

1. What attracted you to comedy? I've always thought humor and comedy made life better, but it never occurred to me to pursue it myself until my 20s when I started seeing funny women on stage. It seemed so radical to me and I knew it was something I needed to try myself.

2. Which fellow comedian would you choose as a mentor? There are so many multi-talented comedians, especially women, who are doing it all and that really inspires me. They perform, write, act, etc. A few people that come to mind are Phoebe Robinson, Aparna Nancherla and Beth Stelling.

3. High point + low point of your career so far: Every bomb at a show or rejection feels like a low point. Every victory feels like a high point. Comedy is a just a bunch of ebbs and flows.

4. One thing 2019 taught you: My skin is way thicker than I thought. Maybe it's resilience, maybe it's delusion— either way, it works for me!

5. What's next for you in 2020: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Ticket prices for the event are $20.

Merchandise and magazines will be available for purchase as well! All proceeds from the comedy show will go towards distributing magazines for free in resource centers across the country! If you can’t attend, share it with a friend who likes to laugh for a good cause. xx - TGM
